This week I have returned to my original city for a week of work at a conference. I have somehow also stumbled upon one of the best weeks of Ohio Fall weather I have seen in a few years. Enjoy!

6 September 2019 - Las Vegas, Nevada

Annually, my girlfriend and her closest group of friends take a long weekend to Vegas. While we were already here in May for EDC, it is a nice short drive from SoCal, so it can be a good, quick getaway. For the most part, the trip consisted of walking the strip, enjoying a night club, and lots of fun food and drink.

A new experience for me on this trip was to take a ride on the High Roller (Ferris wheel). That was fun!

As an introvert, this city is a nightmare and drains my energy quite quickly. However, I love how it forces me out of my comfort zone. Thanks to this core group of friends I would have never gotten this close to one of my favorite DJs, Dash Berlin.

31 August 2019 - London, UK

Just passing through...

Due to the long distance from LA and SA, I find splitting up the trip with a night of restful sleep in London makes the journey much easier. Also, I get a rare opportunity to take a walk of one of my favorite cities.

24 August 2019 - Durban, South Africa

On long business trips, one of the main ways I keep my sanity and relax is to go exploring. I've been to the southwestern city of Capetown a few times and wanted to try the eastern side of the country. What a beautiful Beach City!

19 August 2019 - South Africa

I am here in South Africa for two weeks on a business trip. What a mixed journey of good and bad! On the negative side, KLM lost my luggage somewhere between London and here. On the positive side, I got a nice open middle seat in my row on the 12 hours of flying here.

It will be a busy few weeks of training, but I should have a nice weekend in Durban and then a few more days in London on the way home.

I've done part of the West Coast drive of the USA, typically between San Francisco and San Diego, however, I have longed to go as far as Washington and back. 27 July 2019 - Above & Beyond Group Therapy Weekender - Gorge, WA, USA

When my girlfriend said "I wish we could do a road trip and see the Group Therapy Weekender" I knew I had to make it happen. I did not realize the fun we would have. For the most part, it was a nice camping weekend along the Columbia River. The days were hot and the nights cool. More importantly, the music was amazing!
