I am not sure what I was thinking last November as I filled half this year with 6+ races. It has only been 2 weeks since my last big run and now I am doing another one. In a month...off to San Diego for another!
I'll give you this. This race was perfect for running. The weather was great, the course was fun and interesting, and the temperatures behaved themselves. Unlike my other runs, this event is one of the first where I actually raised funds for a charity. One of my character flaws is that I can sometimes be too vain (maybe even a bit of a narcissist). In trying to become a better person I keep looking for and trying things like this event.
It was a fun time! I think this is one of the most enjoyable races I have done over the last few years.

6 March 2019 - Road Trip to Glendale, AZ - Baseball
One of my friends is enjoying a retirement lifestyle in Arizona, attending multiple spring training baseball games....living the dream. I noticed that my favorite team, the Cleveland Indians, would be playing my next favorite team, the LA Dodgers. We decided to take a road trip to Glendale and enjoy a game. Here are a few photos....
I also had a little bit of fun with some video too:

3 March 2019 - Tustin Hanger Half Marathon
Here we go with another run. I did this event last year and wanted to do it again. Once again, it was a rainy Saturday which had me a little nervous about running.
So at 7AM the next day I lined up and lucked out with partly cloudy skies. It was a little bit cold, but I've survived worse. The first mile always features a nice run through the historic military hanger. It still thrills me that these are made of wood.
After a few hours, I crossed yet another finish line. Still feels good to complete one of these.
This year I decided to create a snap chat series of videos. I'll put that link below:

2 March 2019 - California Science Center - Los Angeles, CA
Just a short post today. Wanted to share that I got to see the Endeavor space shuttle at the California Science Center near USC. I was vaguely reminded of my 12-year-old-self's family vacation to Cape Canaveral, FL.
Enjoy...
Here is a time lapse of the 2012 arrival of the shuttle and its tour of LA.
