"I want to go see snow!", my girlfriend exclaimed. "It's not all that great...trust a former Ohioan with decades of experience and frustrations", I replied. So, off we went on a little weekend road trip to the mountains near Los Angeles. I've heard stories of how Californians can go surfing and snow skiing in the same day and now know how such a stunt is possible. This journey starts by driving into the mountains...
We stopped for brunch at a small town and then headed out into the woods to do some hiking. Most of the snow had melted, but we had a good time anyway!
After exploring the town of Big Bear for a few hours, we headed west towards Arrowhead lake. Another nice location awaited.
